The company is a family run business and was formed in 1946 by Robert Blackett under the name of F Blackett & Sons to provide building services within the Northeast of England.

We are not just an internet company and you can be assured that you are dealing with a bricks and mortar company run by good people who have many years of exprience dealing in commercial and domestic joinery products.  People who will always be available to provide you with a quality service and backed up by our commitment to holding good stock levels to always try and meet your requirements on demand.  We know a lot about doors and we can provide you with technical help and support on doors and door furniture should you need it.
