The LPD Guarantee

All doors supplied by LPD (except those excluded from this guarantee, effective as at 1st November 2004) are guaranteed for 10 years from date of delivery, to be of good material and workmanship and free from defects which would render said doors unserviceable or unfit for the ordinary, recommended use.

This guarantee is made to the original purchaser and extends only to the first subsequent purchaser during the period of this guarantee. If at the time delivery is received, said door(s) are found to have defect(s) which can reasonably be discovered by inspection of each door, the receiver of the door(s) must, prior to hanging or fitting, and within 30 days, send written notice of said discovered defect(s) to LPD. If a defect is discovered or occurs after the door is hung, written notice of said defect(s) must be sent to LPD within 10 years of the date of delivery.

The Environment

In order to continually improve its operating procedures and thereby impact positively on the environment, LPD is wholly committed to the following Environmental Policy:

- To be fully compliant with all environmental legislation associated with the Company’s activities
- Wherever and whenever economically practicable, to endeavour to use environmentally safe materials
- Where feasible, to strive towards the continual reduction of all waste streams, to air, water and land
- Wherever commercially viable, to recycle and reuse any materials that would otherwise go to landfill
- To regularly monitor energy usage in order to reduce overall consumption
- To communicate the policy internally and place it in the public domain
- To establish and regularly review all environmental objectives in respect of this policy

In the early days of LPD's development as a door importer and distributor, our capability was primarily in the area of External Hardwood doors and today, even though our ranges are now dominated by Internal Doors, our External ranges remain an important and significant part of our ongoing development programme. These ranges include 44mm dowelled constuction, 44mm mortice & tenon construction, 44mm Hardwood and Oak doors with factory fitted insulated glass and more recently, the Classic range of traditional and new designs with a variety of glass options included.
