Oak door frames (boxed sets) A great value new addition for 2008. Door frame kits manufactured using solid (unfinished) European oak. The laminated construction has the advantage of extra stability and material economy without losing authenticity. Lengths supplied are sufficient to cut for most standard door sizes, including a version for pair or sidelight configurations. A separate boxed mullion where a rebate both sides is required for sidelights. Draught strips are included. It is essential that the framing is sheltered to ensure appearance and performance is to be maintained. Treatment with external wood finish is still required.
